Hi, I’m Christina — the face behind Honey & Chai Outpost.

The name Honey & Chai is more than just a name — it’s a piece of me. Honey is what a lot of my hiking friends call me. Chai was my nickname for my dog, Cheyenne. Chai, like dirty chai tea — warm, earthy, a little wild. She was my best friend, my adventure buddy, my heart in fur form. I adopted her back in 2019 and gave her a new life full of the outdoors. We were inseparable. We once used to backpack, camp, road trip, and hit up hot springs together across California, Oregon and Nevada, all seasons of the year. Unfortunately she passed away in December of 2024, and it’s been extremely hard for me to get back out there without her.

Creating Honey & Chai Outpost has given me a way to keep her with me. A tribute. A shift. A reason to start creating again. Giving items a second chance, like the one Chai was given. This shop is helping me heal, and bring new life into pieces that once had their own and can shine again.
